If you are looking for a venue in Canberra to host a meeting, training, conference or workshop – Community Services #1 has some great options available.

We have excellent rooms for hire in both Griffith and Narrabundah (ACT) and are also able to provide access on a hire basis to equipment such as overhead projector, screens, whiteboards, Sound System. All our venues are ideal for meetings, workshops or group activities.

As we are a not for profit organisation we are able to provide access to our rooms and equipment at an excellent price

Narrabundah Venue – 2 Spaces for Hire.

Our Narrabundah venue features two areas for hire – a large hall with timber floorboards and a smaller carpeted meeting room/conference room.

Narrabundah Hall

The hall is a perfect location for children’s and fitness activities or meetings and is in the former Narrabundah Primary School at 63 Boolimba Cres Narrabundah.

Narrabundah Meeting Room 

The meeting room is an ideal space for corporate or business type events that require a professional space with quality facilities including:

  • Air conditioning and heating/cooling and full carpeted flooring
  • AV System for presentations
  • Disability access and facilities
  • Kitchen facilities for tea/coffee making and small catering requirements
  • Easy access and free parking

Griffith Venue – 2 Spaces for Hire.

We manage the Griffith Neighbourhood Centre located in Stuart Street Griffith (next to the Griffith shops). The building features two spaces ideal for a variety of activities: a large hall and a smaller meeting/function room with kitchen facilities and doors opening up to a leafy courtyard.

  • Well equipped kitchen facilities
  • Whiteboard, overhead projector, projection screen, video and large monitor
