NOTE: Venue Hire is not currently open for festive events or parties.

If you are looking for a Canberra venue to host a meeting, training, conference or workshop – Community Services #1 has some great options available.

We have high quality, versatile rooms for hire in Griffith and Narrabundah (ACT) and are also able to provide access on a hire basis for equipment such as an overhead projector, screens, whiteboards and a small sound system. All our venues are ideal for meetings, workshops or group activities.

As we are a not for profit organisation we are able to provide access to our rooms and equipment at a very competitive price.

  • All Weekend bookings incur a 20% surcharge
  • Certified not-for-profit organisations are eligible for lower rates.

Narrabundah Hall

The hall features ample natural light and timber floorboards and is a perfect location for children’s activities, fitness activities or meetings and is located at 63 Boolimba Cres Narrabundah.

The meeting room is an ideal space for corporate, business events that require a professional space with quality facilities including:

  • Kitchen facilities for tea/coffee making and small catering requirements
  • Easy access and free parking

 

Griffith Venue – 2 Spaces for Hire.

Both venues are located at the Griffith Neighbourhood Centre in Stuart Street Griffith (next to the Griffith shops). The two spaces are ideal for a variety of activities: a large hall and a smaller function room with kitchen facilities and doors opening up to a leafy courtyard.

Both spaces are modern with excellent light and ventilation.
