Venue Hire Services

Venue hire is closed for routine hires and non-functions only.

All parties and functions remain closed until further notice.

If you are looking for a great venue in Canberra to host a meeting, training, conference or workshop – Community Services #1 can cater to your needs.

We have excellent rooms for hire in both Griffith and Narrabundah (ACT) and are also able to provide access on a hire basis to equipment such as overhead projector, screens, whiteboards, Sound System. All our venues are ideal for meetings, workshops or group activities.

As we are a not for profit organisation we are able to provide access to our rooms and equipment at an excellent price – please contact us to enquire about availability and price (contact and form link details are at the bottom of the page)

Narrabundah Venue

Our Narrabundah venue features a large hall with timber floorboards. A perfect location for children’s and fitness activities or meetings, the venue is in the former Narrabundah Primary School at 63 Boolimba Cres Narrabundah.

Griffith Venue

We also manage the Griffith Neighbourhood Centre located in Stuart Street Griffith (next to the Griffith shops). This gorgeous building has a large hall and meeting room with kitchen facilities plus doors which open up to a leafy courtyard.

  • AV system for music/presentations
  • Disability access and facilities
  • Well equipped kitchen facilities
  • Whiteboard, overhead projector, projection screen, video and large monitor
