Homework Club offers a place for your child to work in a supportive environment out of school hours, and lets us take the homework pressure off you as parents.
What will staff be assisting my child with?
Staff will be on hand to facilitate the homework process, which will include looking at what homework the children have to complete, sitting down and assisting where required, finding resources, listening to children read.
While the Homework Club is not intended as a tutoring session, the small group size will enable staff to work closely with children and assist them in areas where they may be having difficulties.
Our intention is to facilitate, and we would still ask that families touch base with their child about what work they have done.
