Birralee Education and Care Centre is an 86 place centre, situated on the lower ground of 4 National Circuit Barton. Birralee has a priority of access to the Attorney Generals Department, but can take non-Department applications also.
Our highly qualified educators are dedicated to the care and education of your child. We aim to create fun, educational activities and experiences for children to thrive and learn.

Birralee’s name is derived from an Aboriginal dialectic meaning ‘children’. To embed this into our program Birralee has an Elder Duncan Smith who attends the Centre regularly to share his culture and heritage with the children that attend Birralee.
As part of the daily fee, all of our centres provide a full nappy service. Linen for sleep times is also provided, and is laundered by the centre.
We also serve nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day. The recommended serves per day for young children are:

The Centre has five rooms with three of them catering to children under the age of two years. Birralee is a modern centre with large windows for the children to view and access the outdoor yard. A dining room is the hub of the Centre where the Birralee children can share their meals and have a connection with each other.
The rooms are divided as:
Bluebells 0-12 months
Wattles 12months–18 months
Bottlebrush 18 months–two years
Warratahs Two years –three years
Banksias Three years –five years
