Birralee Education and Care Centre is an 88 place centre, situated on the lower ground of 4 National Circuit Barton. The centre has priority of access to the Attorney Generals Department, but can take non-Department applications also.
Our highly qualified educators are dedicated to the care and education of your child. We aim to create fun, educational activities and experiences for children to thrive and learn.

Birralee’s name is derived from an Aboriginal dialectic meaning ‘children’. To embed this into our program Birralee has an Elder – Duncan Smith who attends the Centre regularly to share his culture and heritage with the children who attend Birralee.
As part of the daily fee, all of our centres provide a full nappy service. Linen for sleep times is also provided, and is laundered by the centre.
We serve nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day. The recommended serves per day for young children are: Grains: 2, Fruit: 0.75, Vegetables: 2, Dairy: 1, Meat/alternative: 1

The Centre has five rooms with three of them catering to children under the age of two years. Birralee is modern with large windows for the children to view and access the outdoor yard. The large communal area of our centre is a hub where Birralee children can enjoy a range of activities and connect with each other.
The rooms are divided as:
Bluebells: 6 Weeks -12 months
Wattles: 12 months – 2 years
Bottlebrush: 2 years – 3 years
Warratahs: 3 years – 4 years
Banksias: 4 years – 5 years
