Community Services #1 childcare centres are dedicated to early education and care for children aged six weeks to six years of age. Our philosophy underpins the importance of early childhood and the value of play as a vehicle for learning.
Working in partnership with families is integral in developing a sense of community at our services and parents are encourage to participate in the program as a whole. Each of the CS#1 centres has their own individual identity which draws on each of the educators, family, children’s voices, culture and heritage. Our services aim to provide a safe and fun environment for all who belong to the CS#1 Community.
CS#1 aims to provide children with a sense of wonder and the opportunity to explore. Each of our centres scaffold children’s learning using the Early Learning Framework as a guide in early pedagogy.
Our Kitchen Managers have seasonal menus that provide 50% of the children’s nutritional requirements each day. Older children are encouraged to serve their meals where appropriate.
Additional external programs enhance the children’s learning while at the centres in a variety of mediums such as dance, speaking another language and musically.
The CS#1 philosophy supports our educators to gain higher qualifications in the Early Childhood profession. Our Registered Training Organisation Optimum Training and Development supports and mentors our educators in completing their Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
All of our Centre Directors will be happy to arrange a suitable time to view the Centre and answer any questions you may have.
