We are seeking Home Care Workers to join our professional and supportive Aged Care Services Team in casual roles across the ACT region who can provide General Support and Personal Care.
Following completion of your induction with CS#1, while you work to support our communities most vulnerable, we work to support you with
Duties include:
- Domestic Assistance: General assistance with the upkeep of the home & may include meal preparation, shopping & general cleaning.
- Home Maintenance: light gardening and lawn mowing
- Social Support: Supporting the client in a social capacity which can be within the home or in a community setting.
- Transport: Provide transport to CS#1 clients to access the community.
- Personal Care: Provide support where required with showering, dressing & other activities of daily living.
- Communicating with CS#1 Team to ensure clients support plan is reflecting support needs by providing progress notes from each shift and escalating of any change in health, wellbeing, or risks of the client.
- Representing the CS#1 team internally and externally with clients, families, and relevant stakeholders.
- Respectfully maintaining & upholding our clients right to dignity, privacy & dignity of choice.

What you will bring to the team
To be considered for these roles, you will hold or be working towards a Certificate 3 in Community Services, Individual Support (or approved equivalent) and/or relevant work experience.
You will be required to have or be willing to obtain:
- Certificate 3 (or working towards)
- Working Vulnerable People Card
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Full Drivers Licence and own vehicle
- COVID-19 Vaccination History Certificate
