Chief Executive Officer
- Deliver the future for an expanding community organisation
- Support organisational change and shape client outcomes
- Hands-on, well resourced role
Community Services #1 is a purpose and mission-driven organisation, delivering a range of social support services throughout the ACT and adjacent NSW areas. Programs include Early Education and Care, Aged Care, as well as a raft of diverse community services (such as food pantry and community transport). CS#1 has over 200 staff, an annual budget of $14 million, and delivers positive impact for thousands of clients.
People are the heartbeat of Community Services #1 whether an Educator or Executive, with everyone contributing from a place of passion. That said, these sectors are highly regulated and they touch the lives of vulnerable clients. So first class corporate leadership needs to sit atop an agile and evolving entity, in order to shape and support during a period of particular external dynamism.
As CS#1 CEO you’ll live and breathe the values, and deliver the organisation’s mission. You’ll collaborate with an experienced and influential Board, plus empower and lead your staff toward the delivery of existing organisational plans. Focus areas will be around corporate management and systems improvement, organisational agility to engage the market and enhance our existing offerings, as well as ensuring ongoing financial and service stability of the organisation.
The Board is seeking an experienced CEO with a proven track record in the community sector. Strategic insight, critical thinking, and a growth mindset should be paired with highly developed Emotional Intelligence.
