We are seeking an experienced Aged Care Services Officer to hit the ground running, to facilitate and deliver services and supports through the Commonwealth Home Support and Home Care Package Programs and identify the gaps in their care plans.
- Permanent Full-time role (76 hours/fortnight) available now
- Hourly rate from $41.52 to $44.28, plus superannuation plus superannuation (Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award Level 4)

Aged Care Services Officer Requirements:
To apply for this position you must have experience in the Commonwealth Home Support and Home Care Packages Programs and a sound understanding of monitoring budgets, service delivery networks and resources available to support older people in their homes.
- Knowledge of sector and home care legislation and standards
- Experience and knowledge of delivering services within client personal budgets
- Current Working with Vulnerable People Card, Working with Children check and NSW Police check
- Certificate IV qualifications in relevant fields such as Community Services, Health Services, Aged Care, or equivalent work experience
- Unrestricted driver licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Evidence of up to date COVID Vaccination
To be successful in the role, you will:
- be experienced with undertaking comprehensive assessments and re-assessments for eligible Aged Care recipients, in line with their personal needs and budgets
- have strong knowledge and experience delivering Home Care Packages in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, Aged Care Act and Home Care Programme Operational Manual
- commit to delivering best fit services and supports for individual clients, ensuring quality service delivery and responsive customer service and mindful of individual needs and budget constraints
- be experienced with maintaining client records, and collection of data/statistics for reporting
- be passionate about empowering independent living and delivering high quality services to our community clients in the local area with a genuine desire to support people to live a higher quality of life
- exercise judgement and contributing critical knowledge where procedures are not clearly defined
- be a strong and empathetic communicator
- have excellent time management skills.
