Breakfast Briefing 8th of August- Building better business models
Breakfast Briefing 8th of August
Building better business models- presented by Adrian Makehamkirchner
We have learned over recent years that all organisations are facing growing pains and financing challenges. Building on some of the briefings about working with government, growing organisations, the business of community services and strategy Adrian will unpack the anatomy of organisations to reveal ways to make better financial and strategic decisions. This will include outlining business modelling approaches, the mechanics of financial decisions and tips and traps for business cases. The objective is to provide a language and structure to enable better decisions to respond to the challenges, with a little bit of ‘how to’ along the way.”
Adrian established Economic Intelligence in 2012 to provide understandable, affordable and analytical decision making support starting from first principles. Adrian has extensive experience in the government and non-government sectors having worked as a consultant, political adviser, Senior Executive, Board member and as a business owner. Adrian draws on experience in applied economics, statistical analysis, strategic thinking and complex policy and system design to support evidence based decision making for leaders who face tough, complex and sensitive resourcing choices.
